Binge-Worthy ads.
(in my opinion)
Revolution Cooking R180 Ad.
This Revolution Cooking R180 toaster ad just gets us – the battle of burnt or not burnt toast. They tapped into the relatable struggle of traditional toasters that typically have only two settings. The toast swatches concept using paint color swatches not only showcased creativity but also turned a mundane appliance into a conversation starter.
The ad is both creative and engaging – making choosing your toast preferences feel like picking your favorite color. MMB absolutely nailed it.
Pepsi, #NationalBurgerDay
Pepsi's #NationalBurgerDay ad is incredible. Using packaging from Burger King, McDonald’s, and Wendy’s, it cleverly highlights where the Pepsi logo coincidentally pops up, emphasizing its perfect fit with burgers. Additionally, the catchy slogan "Even when we’re not on the menu, we’re always in the picture" shines because it cleverly implies that Pepsi and burgers are a natural combo, even if not explicitly mentioned on the menu. It's a smart and subtle way of claiming its place in the burger scene.
Lastly, the genius lies in the recognition that these iconic brands—McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King, and Pepsi—possess such strong visual identities that even when zoomed in on their bags, consumers can immediately identify the brand. Overall, Pepsi's #NationalBurgerDay campaign brilliantly combines creativity, strategic timing, and a strong understanding of brand recognition, making it an incredibly effective and memorable advertisement.
